Wonder…
Do you have a list of questions you want to ask God when you
go to heaven? There are so many things
that I wonder about. For instance, how
is that when the sun shines just right on water droplets a rainbow is
formed? What is the purpose of the 17-year
cicada? How is that you were able to
form the complex human body out of the dust from the ground? The list of questions could go on and on.
God has not provided us with the knowledge to know
everything; therefore, we will wonder many things until we go to heaven. Yet, there are things we don’t have to wonder
about. We know we have a God that is the
same yesterday, today, and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8). We know that God sent us His Son to bear the
punishment of death so we could have eternal life (John 3:16). We know that it is impossible for God to lie
(Hebrews 6:18). We know that He will be
with us (Isaiah 43:2). We know that He
created us (Psalm 139:13-14). We know
that His love is everlasting (Psalm 103:17).
We may wonder about many things but we are so blessed to
know so much about God! We know that all
scripture is breathed out by God (2 Timothy 3:16) and there is much more to learn
as we dig deeper into His word.
