Injustice - Lent Photo Challenge

Injustice…

Injustice is just wrong, ask my daughter or any kid or any person.   My children are quick to say, “That is not fair”!  They are swift to point out all the details of the injustice that has occurred.  In fact, if any of us see or hear about injustice the response many times includes intense emotions.  Simply put injustice is wrong.

Yet, the biggest injustice that occurred saved us.  Jesus committed no sin; yet, had to die because of all the sin.  It is not fair that the man who walked this earth sinless had to hang on the cross.  It is not fair that I will reap the benefits of eternal life because Jesus paid the price for me.  It seems so wrong.

I’m so humbled and thankful that it isn’t wrong.  God loves us so much that He sent His son to die for us.  It is not fair that Jesus hung on the cross for us.  Thankfully, this is not about fair or justice.  This is about God's love for us.
