Today the weather produced a wintery mix, which I find little delight in. I am the kind that loves sunny and warm! However, when the wintery stuff arrives I do find delight in the beauty that comes from winter and I brave the outdoors for a few minutes to take some photos. This is similar to the law of God. Psalms 40:8 notes, "I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart." Many times we do not find delight in God's will. We want to do our own will. Yet, the will of the Lord is to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11) and there is great delight in the plans the Lord has for us. Take delight in His will!
