Bible Passage for the Week

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you by His poverty might become rich." 2 Corinthians 8:9

It is pretty humbling when you stop and consider all that Christ has done and continues to do for us.  He literally gave up everything so we could have everything.  No, we don't have all the earthly possessions we would like but we have everything we need and we have a place in Heaven!  There is no better gift given to us than what Christ has given.
